We went here specially for cherry blossom and it was a very beautiful experience. It is crowded as of now since it's peak season of Cherry blossom.
There are around 25 Sakura trees and flowers are bloomed beautifully. This park has good connectivity with Public transport and there are watery options near by to grab pizza or subway
A decent place to go for a walk or cycling.. a small park with a river/ creek mostly famous for its intimate contact with Cherry blossom tree/ flowers..!! There are no slides/swings for children on benches around the corners. The parking area is also near the tennis court which ia at distant, so once you park your car you will have to go by walk , cross the river and then enter the park!! And yes there are loads of restaurant nearby walking distance !! Thank you
Joyce Archdekin Park is a beautiful and peaceful park in Brampton, Ontario, Canada. The cherry blossoms in full bloom make for a picturesque backdrop, and the well-maintained pathways allowed us to explore the park on foot. The playground and picnic area provided a fun and enjoyable experience for children. Although the park was crowded during peak hours, we still enjoyed a relaxing evening time with family. We highly recommend this park to anyone looking to spend quality time with their loved ones in a beautiful natural setting.
A lovely little park just off Main St. South, in Brampton. It’s best to park across the street in the Shoppers Drug Mart lot. Cross at the lights and you will see the cherry blossoms. The trees are planted close enough to make a beautiful canopy of blooms. Although not as plentiful as the cherry blossoms at Centennial Park in Etobicoke, this is a beautiful opportunity for photos.
An excellent place to experience Cherry blossom. Ideal for walking and cycling in summer. Best to see the view of cherry blossom in Aprill.
We usually visit this park once a year to catch the cherry blossoms. This year was no different, beautiful blooms. We did, however, catch the tail end of the blooming season so most trees had already shed their blooms.
I was disappointed, however, to see a few park visitors blatantly pulling at branches to get photographs without a care or concern at the damage they were doing to the trees. My only hope is they don’t destroy the trees to the point that park and city officials institute stringent park regulations in the future.
Nice park to stop by on your biking/walking route. Decent number of cherry blossom trees in spring - pretty crowded though. Avoid weekends if you are coming to get clicked with cherry blossoms.
It was really beautiful! I went to see the cherry blossoms in May and they were so cool to look at! It was a bit crowded but I didn't mind. It was just such an exciting experience to enjoy these trees before the leaves start to fall
